SYNOPSIS: Jayne Krazen and Thomas
Philpott, a disenchanted married couple,
come to seek the counsel of the perpetually foul-mouthed Dr. Featherstone, a psychologist who has become
disenchanted with people being disenchanted.
Through a series of finely crafted insults and rude games, Dr. Featherstone gradually
peels back the layers of defense and distrust the couple has developed. During the play,
Dr. Featherstone's own inadequacies are revealed through and because of receptionist - and offspring - Michael.
This dark and very funny romp - "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" meets "House MD" - is revealed to the audience
in real time, without a break. Like life. Running time: 1 hour, 15 minutes.
